They choose which shots are in the video and the story that's portrayed in the video. It is a big deal, but I mean it's a "professional" which is what people wanted and now they've got it.

G.U.Y has a great replay value, it's gagaesque but also brings something more, new and fresh compared to her past releases.

The "Love me love me please retweet" part is really unique and has a wow factor that makes the music stick into your mind at first listen. I hope she really chose this song as for me it's part of ArtPop's trinity along with Sexxx Dreams and MANiCURE.

And let's just not say anything about a professional being involved in one of her MV projects for the first time in four years now. Let's just pray there is a story line.

so the director does all that? and the cinematographer does what? I thought they typically set up the sets & visuals.. so would someone that typically picks visuals really be the best person to now put together a cohesive clear storyline (which gaga on her own has trouble with)? I mean it may be better than gaga on her own! but i'm just saying it's not really a proffesional director then
