6. Gaga has a 6x platinum single, and a 7x platinum single from her first era. She was huge, sadly her second era didn't even manage to score a 4x platinum hit as Born This Way stalled at 3.9 million. Still not disastrous though. Let me answer to your edit as well.
Two of her most successful albums/ eras were 'Stripped' and 'B2B'. In every song of those albums, she has a co-writing credit and in some of them a co-producing credit. Plus, she's the executive producer of both of them. If anything, she's one of the most creative popstars.
'Lotus' is average and she didn't commit to it much, even fans admit that. But its quality and promo have nothing to do with my main point, which is that she's STILL here (and I wouldn't have to repeat that if you didn't constantly stray away from it).

Am I dreaming or are you really satisfied with facts like "she is judge on tv show", "she makes some headlines" rather than music ? I mean her own quality music + proper 5 single releases with videos + tour must be so much more satisfying for her fans than these quick feature hits and public appearances. What do you even stan for ?

I stan for the voice of this generation, a 5-time Grammy award winner. That's something 5 of the 6 people in your sig aren't even close to, so let's not go there.
Christina is currently recording her new album and unlike most people's faves, she doesn't just get demos sent to her, record her vocals and wait for her manager to tweet she has a new single out. She writes and produces. So yes, until she serves us new music, I'm perfectly happy with a top 5 smash hit duet and plenty of positive media buzz often translating to headlines. That's a privillege only fans of artists with staying power enjoy.

Preach it. Monsters on this thread keep trying to convince themselves that katy will keep producing bubblegum pop, stagnating into irrelevancy. Meanwhile ignoring Katy's subtle transition into more adult records like TOTGA, WA and even DH. But then again, monsters don't get subtlety. Neither does their mother monster. Hence, the public has tuned out and will continue to, in droves. See a great song like DWUW underperform as it's doing for exhibit A.
