I was 5'7" when I was 13 and I weighed 140-145, which isn't overweight, but it depends on how much is fat.

I love this thread!
For me, I never had issues with weight. I can eat whatever and don't gain that much weight and people just assume I don't anything. But I don't eat meat though, Im vegetarian. I only drink water and juice. I have not drank soda in years. I also don't smoke and don't drink beer because that is not really good for you.
I don't do gyms and I am not one of those obessed people that work out everyday. But I do work out a little bit when I have the time because some of us are too busy with school/work and don't have the time for it. I'm more into bike riding, walking, jogging, swimming ect
Just as long I'm not overweight and that I'm healthy, I'm satisfied
But everyone is different when it comes to diet and fitness. We all have different body types and it does come down to genes. Some people are naturally big and some are naturally skinny.

This are mine:
- I drink a beverage made with brewer's yeast powder and water every morning. RELIGIOUSLY. It was very disgusting at the beginning (when i used to have several acne), but then you get used to it. Is often used as a source of B-complex vitamins, chromium, and selenium. The B-complex vitamins in brewer's yeast include B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid), and H or B7 (biotin). These vitamins help break down carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, which provide the body with energy. They also support the nervous system, help maintain the muscles used for digestion, and keep skin, hair, eyes, mouth, and liver healthy .
- Clean and humect my skin before i go to sleep. RELIGIOUSLY.
- I incorporate seeds: Basically a mix of linseed, sesame, sunflower and chia. I mix them with honey to make them eatable because they're dry and hard to shallow.
- WATER. WATER. WATER. 2.5 lts a day. No coke, no pepsi, no fanta, no flavoured teas with tons of sugar and artificial sweeteners and dyes. Our body is 70% water, is the only thing we need and can't be replaced by NOTHING.
- A mix of almonds, nuts, raw peanuts and raisins every day. ****ING LOVE IT. This can be replaced candies any day.
- Skim milk, always. Animal fat is the worst, your heart will appreciate it.
- I'm very aware of the nutritional fact labels. If it has trans fat or animal fat, i pass.
- Try to eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. The more the better.
- I'm not a very physical person. I hate the gym, it depress me. But i'm ok with my body, i walk A LOT and that keeps me fit.
- I eat EVERYTHING... but try to eat most healthy as possible. If there's a pack Lays in my house of course i'm gonna eat them all. I love chips, guiltiest pleasure of all.

Where can I find this drink mix sis? I don't have sever acne but when I stress (like now with all my finals) my skin turns oily and I am prone to pimples popping up here, there & everywhere. I've seen your pics and your skin is amazing!

The gym won't work if you keep that horrible diet. No shade.
Gym + good diet = marriage. Otherwise is just a waste of your time and energy.

I had really BAD acne (i wouldn't dare to show pics)... i'm not kidding, it was really bad.
I tried EVERYTHING (even that ProActive ****, a total waste of money). You have to attack from the inside. I did a treatment with a very strong pills (roaccutane was the name of the drug)... and it took me 4 months to finally heal my skin. It was really drastic, everybody noted it and i was... another person.
It has to be supervised by a doctor, of course.
The brewer's yeast powder is a very regular product, it shouldn't be a problem for you to find it.
I googled it,and this came up... maybe you recognize it:

My diet is different since I do weight lifting. I have to have more proteins and can't skimp on food.
Anyway, one of my trainers from previous years said that since I've NEVER been conditioned to run in my entire life, it takes a while to build up endurance. Add in the fact that I'm past the big 3-0, it becomes MUCH harder.
I'll take dance any day.

The diet wasn't that bad imo. I personally think you can eat what ever **** you want if you excerise it off.
That said, i tend to prefere to eat healthier food anyway.

Unless you are blessed with the genes, you CANNOT eat what you want. If I go to the gym for 3 hours, then eat a triple cheeseburger, I pretty much negated anything I did. AND I added a hell of a lot of artery-clogging cholesterol and fat to my body. Your diet makes up 60-80% of weight-loss/muscle building. Gym is only a small factor.

Do you know of Patrick holford?
I also eat seeds everyday, pumpkin, flax (linseed) and sunflower.. Also if you swallow the seeds whole it's hard for your body to get the nutrition from then, I don't know if you do this or if you chew them with the honey?
I put my seeds into a blender or in my case my smoothie maker and it turns them into dust, then I can sprinkle it onto cereal or just make the smoothie as normal or even sprinkle onto fruit salads
What's chia seed?
I also snack dried fruit and nut unlike a lot of people I actually like them
Would you honestly recommend the yeast thing? Is that what helped your skin or was it what the doctor gave you? I might try it...

Genetics + age + metabolism. I did say in my first statement that unless you have the right genetics, eating whatever could cause weight gain/health problems. I have a friend who is thinner than a stick and she eats what she wants, but because her genes keep her body that way. Her parents are thin as hell as well.
Second, you may think that it has no effect, but depending on your choice of foods, you can accumulate cholesterol and have blocked arteries. Salty foods build up your sodium levels and keep your blood pressure high. Men are more susceptible to this than women and it can lead to heart attack. So it's not all about "eat what you want since you burn it off" it's about keeping the body healthy and even if you don't gain the weight, you add long-term health problems.
Now, you're also mentioning pigging out and not gaining weight. That isn't the same as eating what you want. If you are pigging out, but on GOOD foods (leafy greens, whole grains) then it has a significantly different impact than pigging out on junk food and snacks. Of course you wont gain much if your pigging out includes healthy foods. Pigging out on cheeseburgers, pizza, etc will of course, cause bigger weight gain.
