"HIAM" is a progression, a finished version of "Shaterred Glass" it's not my fault if you don't want to hear it. You can put the HIAM instrumental over Shatered Glass accapella without altering the pace and the rythm and it still fits.
By the way, you can do the same with BTW and EY.

And my point was that people get upset with Gaga for "copying" a song decades ago, but have no problem listening to the same song over and over in present day. I know why, but it is obnoxious. And you posting that Britney's songs all sound the same doesn't help the cause!

Who said I didn't have a problem with most songs sounding the same whether it's rehashing stuff from the past (GaGa, Ke$ha), their peers (Katy, Rihanna) or their old materials (Britney, Beyoncé) ?
I found a solution ! Not listening too much to pop music, you should try it

And I hate when Britney stans bring up Trouble, as though everyone suddenly began to use a song that was inspired by Madonna's Get Together in 2006. Madonna was ahead of the time on her last studio effort Confessions (ignoring the last soon to be two), but no one was doing the sound on radio. At that time, music was more urban/dance-pop. Kesha's 'Tik Toc' was a massive hits that produced many little copy-cats. Not Trouble.

This post is so ignorant.
Kylie used that Chaka Khan sample before Madonna with "Love At first Sight" in 2002. Also, Stardust had a hit with "Music Sound Better With You" in 1998.
Madonna wasn't ahead of her time at all. Not this time. Britney wasn't either but she did rap-talked on "Trouble" over a Chaka Khan influenced beat while Madonna didn't and that's what we got with "Tik Tok" which was also influenced by Uffie's "The Party".
And half of
Confessions is composed of samples so I would really like to know your definition of progressive music...
