The lyrics to the song are so literal it makes any other interpretation look jarring in comparison. If what you said was her message, she should have chosen a different phrase than "Born This Way".

It's not about the outside but the inside. You are beautiful no matter. So it doesn't matter how you dress, how you look, where you are from, who you love, how you change......you will always be loved (by Gaga) cause you are who you are and you can't change that so therefore you were born this way.
