I did the college program.
I lived in Vista Way
Vista Way isnt bad as people are saying. It was cool there, my apartment was nice. Everything was clean. The maintenance and groundskeepers were always working to make sure things were nice for the cps.
In VW there is always parties to go to. Like ALWAYS. Every single night.
Some major magazine
I cant remember the name, named VW the 2nd easiest place in America to get laid. No.1 was the Playboy mansion.
I lived in an 3 bedroom apt. There was 6 of us who lived there. 2 guys to each room.
2 black guys, 2 whites - 1 from the UK the other from Australia. 1 Brazilian and 1 Colombian.
Sounds like it would be hectic,
but no. Everyone worked at different parks and had very different hours. Sometimes I would go days without even seeing my roommates because our schedule were so different. In the beginning it was weird because we all have different customs and ways of doing things. The Brazilian and Colombian knew very little english. But we worked through it. I thought them soooo much American slang. When they first arrived they knew little english. Once it was time for them to leave their english was almost perfect. The only problem I ever had was about cleaning. Some of them were filthy and did not like to clean. I had to constantly had to tell them to clean up their ****.
I worked at Downtown Disney, Disney Quest. I worked on the inside so I had it easy working under the air conditioner all day. Most of my friends worked outside in the heat. They complained about it daily. That FL heat is no joke. Ugh. I felt bad for the people who worked outside because if its raining they still have to work and it rains a lot in FL during the summer. You will get a poncho and have to keep working. They only way you wont be in the rain if it is lighting.
If you want to do the program for the pay then do NOT waste your time. I already knew the pay was ****** before I signed up. I went for the experience. It was literally the best time of my life. I met so many amazing people from all different countries.
If you get the opportunity to do the college program,
DO IT.
