She knows that people live for quirkiness and mysterious pop personas. That's why she switches from talking like a pretentious art student to a random nutcase to whatever seems unpredictable and mysterious to her. The internet age already killed it for me though, so it just comes off as tryhard, transparent and eyerollworthy imo. People are still going to eat it up, so good for her.
