Watch the videos i posted you will fing oversinging, soft, technical, raw, classical....i mean you'll will find everything in her...Not only oversinging you can find that in both actually, so then details like the tone makes the differece in the votes.
It's not technical, it's incorrect. Plain and simple. She ABUSES her voice. A vocalist would not do that.
How is it incorrect? Her vocals are heaven like in
*Save me from myself*
Simply because something SOUNDS good to you, doesn't mean a singer is singing in a way that is healthy. Christina puts enormous strain on her vocal cords when she sings. The throat should always be relaxed and OPEN to enable the free flow of air. Christina damn near always squeezes it when she tries to do those upper belts. You can simply look at videos if her singing today, compared to her several years ago to see the repercussions of doing this. Like someone above mentioned, shouldn't a good vocalist be able to sustain a belt with vibrato?
Ain't nothing wrong with liking her voice, but the question was who was the better VOCALIST, not whether or not you like someone's voice more.

Having said that..."Save Me From Myself" is one of the songs where she does manage to sound like a human, just to give her a lil credit..
Beyonce can only sing R n B type of song, with full of vibrato
Xtina almost can sing any type of song, pop, rock, even RnB [ impossible sounds so black for me ] and dont start with the soul/blues sound, so she win easily on this poll

Beyonce has a full voice which she has trained to not thin out whenever you goes into her higher register. Christina's becomes very thin and shrieks whenever she does...live of course. And Christina's forte are ballads. She can sing uptempos as well, but Beyonce does it better.

That was moi. I was actually listening to Christina last night - the way people talk about her, you'd expect her to have these absolutely flawless, showstopping vocals. And I certainly don't think she's bad - she has a beautiful lower register - but I don't think she has anywhere near the power that some other female singers do.
I think what you said is exactly right. When I was listening to her, I noticed that her vocals are all centered on a forward flow of air, especially when she's belting or exerting any sort of vocal force. There's no give or elasticity, it's just all about pushing forward which is why she seems to have so much trouble holding a note with vibrato - and why she has to turn to the acrobatics so often (again, like in At Last). She's pushing with so much force from her diaphragm to hold the note that she doesn't have the flexibility (or the strength) to lapse into vibrato. That same forward nature is why she's so good at those runs, because she naturally sings in a staccato - because her throat's so constricted and her flow of air is extremely limited.

Beyonce sings pop, rock, CLASSICAL, R&B, jazz, soul, blues, and etc....
+I would have to say Christina. She has a wider vocal range.
+She's ranked 5th in MTV's 22 Greatest Voices in Music and she's ranked 58th in Rolling Stones' 100 Greatest Singers of All Time (even beating out Mariah).
+Beyonce just has a better image, better music videos, and can shake her ass.
Technically, Beyonce is by far a better singer than Christina. The control she has over all facets of her voice is incredible.Who else can belt G5s whilst rolling on the floor in a minidress??? (Cue the Deja Vu performance at the BET Awards)...Beyonce started out as a relatively average singer, but through training and mastering her craft, she's become one of the best Pop vocalists around.
Christina started out with a great voice, but she's destroying her instrument day by day, through poor technique. She's lost most of the power she used to have...For example, she was clearly struggling at the end of the Aretha tribute at the Grammys, and if you noticed, she became inaudible at the end when Yolanda Adams and J.Hud started belting...and nowadays she simply growls her way through most of the difficult belts in her songs.
