You have to drive EVERYWHERE and it takes serious talent to do so because of assholes and congestion! One second you're in Beverly Hills, the next it's ghetto as ****.

Try driving an 18 wheeler through LA That traffic is a nightmare. No courteous drivers. The exit ramps can barely fit cars; imagine having to get a big truck through them, especially with all those sharp curves The only good truck stop (in Ontario) forces you to spend $20 a night. The only other place to park your truck and rest is either a raggedy ass rinky-dink one in by the port, or 100 miles out of the city and up a mountain in Barstow (off I-15). And it's hot as hell too.

Toronto and Niagara Falls(Canada) are great.

None of them are overrated. They are all amazing cities for a reason.

I lived in Louisiana for a total of 3 years. A year when I was an infant, and between 2006 and 2008. It was post Katrina, so that could explain why New Orleans was so ******. It was so scary when I would go there, though.

New Orleans was overrated pre-Katrina too. There's nothing to do down there but go to ****ing bourbon street. I went in January 2005. It was BORING. I may as well have stayed in the hotel the whole time.
Oh NYC, Detroit, Nashville, Orlando, Miami, LA, Dallas, Phoenix, Chattanooga, Washington DC, all overrated majorly
I've never been outside of the USA, but I find some of these like snooty Paris seem pretty plausible. I'll keep my distance

That's why, the city still has a long road to full recovery. The progress is beyond slow. Hopefully, we'll be back at 100% in 5 more years

Not TOO much. Are you sure that's all there was to do or that's all you WANTED to do and were disappointed? There was plenty to do pre-Katrina and tbh, there's plenty to do now. You just have to know where to go. Bourbon is a tourist destination but that isn't the only place we have. I'm from here and I go on Bourbon probably twice a year, if that

I went on a trip to Seattle and San Francisco and I was really excited for Seattle and eh about San Francisco.
Turns out we ran out of stuff to do after about two days in Seattle. Also, the people there were so rude. I've been to a lot of big cities that supposedly had rude people but I've never experienced it until Seattle.
San Francisco was amazing though. Literally the most perfect weather.
I'm also bored of Las Vegas but I've gone there twice a year my whole life so its not really the cities fault.

Istanbul, by far.
Dirty, overcrowded city full of con artists + the most overpriced taxis in the world. Great clothes, great quality but a bit overpriced compared to the likes of Dubai etc.
Beautiful architecture but at what cost.
Very bipolar too, one moment you're in a beautiful, affluent neighborhood, seconds later you're smack-dab in the ghetto. What gives...

You're right Seattle is so boring
But have you been to Portland, Oregon, Seattle's less well known, smaller, but more vibrant and unique little sister? It slays, tbh

Actually I drove through it on the way to San Francisco. Such a pretty city but I didn't to get to experience it. On my list though!

LA (been there, traffic is dreadful, the airport is a complete disaster and the city in general doesnt have much to offer)
Florida in general (kinda generic, Key West and Miami beaches were really pretty though)
Toronto (if you're going to Canada, go out west or quebec city. Toronto has nothing special, although I do like Canadas Wonderland and the CN Tower is kinda cool)
Paris (never been there, but my mom said the people were really rude and its overrated af)
Cancun (honestly, you're basically restricted to the resort grounds. Going beyond the touristy area is extremely risky)

LA - only looks great on the hills. You go there what a mess
Las Vegas - it's only great at night during the day it was too hot. I'd rather stay with St Tropez, that's a better playground.
Berlin - I don't think they like black folk that much.
Rio de Janeiro - everything. It was like Miami, few nice places a mess everywhere. At least the sexy ladies made up for it.
But all the other places I've been to have been awesome. London, Paris (if you speak French I swear they won't be rude to you), Cape Town has to be the most picturesque city in the world.
