The SB is going to be more remembered because of the teams, Missy, and some dumb ass shark.
Gaga was the focal point of her performance and shined. Although the Oscars where a low point themselves, that can't be blamed on Gaga. The movies just didn't draw enough attention to merit huge public consumption. So, in terms of more remembered, Katy will win by default. But her performance was not the best.

Gaga had a more global buzz. Since the Oscars are one of the biggest and more global award shows.

In my country people don't check for the Superbowl and believe Lady Gagas last hit was Pokerface ( )
But, the buzz was even here, even the damn memes got their own articles and she got her own segment with the shows that covered the Oscars. So globally I think Gaga will be more remembered just cause it is what it is: global. Plus people seemed to be shocked that Gaga can look normal too

Two days after Katy's SuperBowl performance, the only thing the media were discussing was Katy suing people for selling left shark products. No one was talking about her performance.
Two days after Gaga's Oscars performance, the praise & acclaim continues to roll in, people are still discussing GAGA and her PERFORMANCE not a prop. Also the media are now extending their praise to her career as a whole outside Oscars.

Well damn at the landslide. I see you stanning, ATRL.
As the days go by, the global impact and praise of Gaga's performance has exceeded everything Katy did at the Superbowl, which to me is rather surprising. Gaga's one single performance has caused the very publications that tore her apart in 2013 to completely change their opinions. I mean, you've got these people writing entire articles about how "we knew she was talented all along, we always believed in her", "this can change her career", and "this was a career-defining moment". None of that happened with Katy because I don't think Katy proved anything to anyone, she just performed and did what everyone expected of her.
And again, Gaga doing what she did in front of the industry's most powerful and elite is infinitely better than performing for even a record-breaking amount of people from the general public. They're almost not even comparable considering that's how much better performing for the people who control the industry is.

Gagas performence became viral and has a potential to be considered iconic in a few years
Katys SuperBowl on the other hand is mainly forgotten by the general public (if we put that "left shark" meme aside)

Katy's sharks alone are more memorable than anything Gaga has done in years.

ShouldNT you be voting for your fav for her kids choice awards instead of embarassing yourself here??
Gaga performance will be as remembered as madonna iconic one at the oscars, deal with it...

OMG the level of delusion in this thread is so disturbing. I didn't think this site was quite this against Katy, I mean there's no other explanation
