That's the point! Dealing with friends who think their romantic problems - their instabilities, their insecurities - are the center of the world, and who expect all of their inner circle to feel the same. This couple goes back and forth, and the friend on the other end of the phone is TIRED of it. When one just takes, takes, takes - that's not a relationship!
