Britney Spears — "Piece of Me"
The Ting Tings — "Shut Up and Let Me Go"

That list of videos are embarrassing and none of them are exceptionally better than the other. Some would argue for WIGU, but I don't think so. It's honestly a toss-up for the winner that year. None of these videos were better than the other. Definitely a down year for the VMA's, as far as videos go, it just worked out for Britney that year.

Judas flopped hard, but at least it peaked in the Top 10, did it not (I can't remember)? Chart performance play no significant part in determining the winner for these categories. Plus, RTW is pushing some views on Youtube like crazy which is a great way to analyze the reception of the video.
