I bought Phase Two but haven't listened yet! Phase one had 2 songs I reallllly loved (HARDROCKLOVER & 1000 X's & O's) and the rest was meh.

I agree, three discs can be a bit too much... I encourage you to listen to it.
It's not his best work, but it has some gems; and it's very personal...
Phase Two is more funky/jazzy, compared to Phase One. I was kinda disappointed when I saw the tracklist (he included some songs that were already released before), but in the album context they work.
