Please, enough. Pretentious is believing you are better than everyone else, and Marina is proud of her work but still often says she's improving and she's not on a high level of Fame etc. |
Hmm, well Lorde is allowed to have an opinion because she releases good music. Lily Allen deserves to have an opinion, because she is real and says it like it is. For example, Marina does not want to admit that she failed to break into the mainstream with Electra Heart, and since, she has needed to revert to making something less similar to radio pop. Whereas, Lily has admitted when she fell short. When Sheezus received mixed reviews and didn't sell too well, I remember her saying something like "Who knows? Maybe the music just wasn't as great this time around." Kelly Clarkson has the same kind of likeable attitude.
