apparently that was the demo for "Lean On" before DJ Snake hopped on the track.

Almost every demo is stripped and different from the official version. This demo is actually not bad, it's just a more laid-back version. I don't think they turned it down because they thought it was bad. I think they turned it down because that's not the direction they wanted for R8.
