But she didn't sacrifice, invest or risk anything but her time and energy. Few established artists can say that they had the benefit of venturing so little to gain so much. Beyoncé kinda reminds me of Willow Smith in that respect.

except this thread is about hard work not sacrifices or investments or risks. However, her dad quit his 6 figure paying job and invested everything in the group. He took a risk and sacrificed a lot. Had DC have failed to make it, how do you think Bey's family's living conditions will be?

No, HER FATHER sold their MANSION ( ![rolleyes](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif) ) to invest in her career. BEYONCE didn't do any of that.

Matthew, his moral compass is definitely extraordinary. He'll instill some great family values in his newborn for sure ![clap3](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/67d90ee8.gif)

So we can agree that Matthew did most of the critical "work"? koo

Bey worked the hardest and sacrificed the most (if not second most) out of the main pop girls to get where she is now. Bey had no real break for majority of her career. Bey had no real personal life for a lot of her career. Bey rarely ever attended another artist's concert, went to the club, or missed any major award show (in which she performed at almost every) for majority of her career. For any of you to suggest anything different is just your lack of musical knowledge from before 2009 and bias against Beyoncé's success is showing.
And Beyoncé's work ethic is unrivaled. Don't even start. That's something you cannot take from her. Bey and MJ are the standard when it comes to work ethic and that's a undisputed fact not an opinion. I don't stan for her but I can see these things. Not sure what everyone else's delusional excuse for disagreeing is but it's wrong on everyday of the week.
And that whole "Her dad made her" is so stupid. He was just her manager. He didn't attend dance lessons, singing lessons, do the dress rehearsals, perform live and more. He's a manager. He just plans. He's not the talent doing the work.
Lastly, it's not always about where you start but it's about what you do when you're famous. Bey put in a lot of work when she was famous. Her and Brit did a lot of grueling schedules late 90s, early 2000s. Let's not.

if by critical work you mean deals, managing,etc... then yes! But Bey did work her ass off since a child in terms of vocals and performing. Are gonna also credit MJ's career to his dad?

LOL @ the failed attempts of mentioning a baby that has nothing to do with the discussion or Bey's success. What point are you trying to serve sistren. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif)

He did what a good manager is suppose to do. Do these other girls not have management?
And if he was so vital in making Bey, why isn't his other daughter on the same level?

lel. If only Matthew was dirt poor too, you might have had a place making such a forced parallel.

This is funny because vocally, Beyoncé and Solange are almost inseparable. The only difference is their style.

It's not an undisputed fact that Bey and Michael are the standard of work ethic.
I agree that beyonce has worked hard and I wasn't even going to comment on this thread but you're legit inventing "undisputed facts" up.
Michael Jackson was forced from a young age to part take in the business he was a CHILD - that had very little to do with his own work ethic rather a desire and push from his parents.
Beyonce works hard but she's certainly not the standard. A lot of people have worked hard + harder.

I'm just agreeing with your rant about parenting and having good family values. Matthew is the best example of that, according to you. Tina would agree, too.

Anyway, if Matt is the reason behind Bey's continued success, even after being fired as her manager, why hasn't he been able to duplicate the same type of success for other artists. I mean, he is the one that GAVE Bey her voice, performance skills, charisma, heart, and dedication.
Maybe Bey should have passed him around to the other girls so that they didn't have to work so hard to be continually mediocre...

Oh, so you're just reaching because you have absolutely nothing logical to add to the discussion. Good thing.
