No. Kworb's system is flawed in that it bases it's point on chart positions and not actual sales. Roar has far outsold Shake It Off, but as the digital sales continued to decrease, Taylor was able to have higher positions for longer.
Roar made IFPI list with 9.9m with only 4 months of availability. SIO couldn't make the top 10 even with streaming included (It had around 400 million views on VEVO)
Maybe the Swifties can stick to their Mediatraffic receipts.

I don't think IFPI counts vevo streaming, only on demand sites like spotify - the same way Billboard operates.

the usual suspects running when the REAL receipts come out to play. I'll wait.

not at all, ''Roar'' is close to 6x Platinum in the US, if it hasn't already reached that status. On a WW scale, ''Shake It Off'' doesn't come close. It's outsold it in pretty much all the major markets.
fff @Swifties acting as if ''Roar'' wasn't still charting high up in the charts a year later after it's release hence it continuing to sell thousands of copies, and generate millions of views weekly.
It's pretty obvious Shake It Off is a bigger hit than Roar.
not sure why people are arguing about if Roar or SIO is bigger in August 2015.
The question was are Roar and SIO equal one year past release date and the answer is more a less yes (SIO has more longevity and more Vevo views)

all that longevity and it still has yet to outsell the song in the US, or any other major music market. But I'll sleep.
Omg, a couple more thousand views!?!? The question was ''are the songs equal'' but the responses that I've read are saying that it's bigger when it couldn't even chart within the IFPI list.

well its a year older so i'd hope Roar would still be ahead
