*ahem* read the title. It's only asking about U.S.....where the sales of You Da One is pretty disappointing compared to WFL and Loud singles. Why release another single though when the lead single is still topping the charts?
600k down 2 months in and currently sitting at #5. Then, considering it's overlap with the Loud era (almost serving as a re-release), receiving minimal promotion, and having only successful single so far (which just left #1 last week) I'd say it's a success so far.
I don't really know why there is so much focus on her US sales (well I do, it's an attempt to detract from the success she is having overall) anyway. Their consistently strong at the rate of which she releases. Should have little problem going platinum with upcoming promotion and another hit single. I see no reason why she can't keep the momentum going after "We Found Love" raps up. "Talk That Talk" and "Where Have You Been" are obvious hits that will provide her with momentum that could even have potential to rival Loud's success there. TTT's numbers aren't really relevant to debating her success, as an overall artist, for the time being when looking at how much she has sold with Loud a few months ago.
Because between the US and the UK her WW sales are pretty dead
How the ****ing hell did it flop? Isn' it still in the Top 10? Didn't We Found Love just spend 10 weeks at #1? Isn't Talk That Talk taking off? Just shut up.
There's no way it can be called a flop. The album will likely hit platinum eventually.
That said, the no promotion excuse is tired. This girl is on the radio ALL THE TIME. There is no better promotion than radio. When you have a song as big as WFL and you're an established star, your album should be at more than 500-600k, especially after a holiday release.
How are WW sales dead when she's pushed over a milli ww already (excluding US/UK)? We're not even at single #3 yet.
+600K from the Us and +600K from the UK. So she almost sold +700K WW excluding US/UK .Considering it was released during the holidays + black Friday and Cyber Monday it's very low.

She spammed her twitter with the iTunes link + the 10 shows she did in the UK + Performances (Grammys, x-Factor ext). Every corner in London had a poster of her new album.
The album has only been out for a couple months.
How the hell can anyone say it flopped or underperformed.
Easy.

The single WFL is doing amazing but the album is not.... it should be selling a lot more than it is, being WFL is such a big success.
