Shania was a big cross-over artist , and that never stopped her from being Country . Country - Pop changes . just like how the old Country - Pop was different than usual Country . Country - Pop of today is different than modern Country .

I always can never determine whether piano is more a pop influence or a country influence.. I guess if you look at it though the song can be determined both. The production can certainly be looked at as pop, but once again the story line in the song is just something the typical pop song doesn't have. If anything I'd classify it more as an adult pop song over a regular pop song.

I know, Two Black Cadillacs is just a really tricky song to judge.
