Not a Kat coming with iTunes receipts once again. In Germany for example, Amazon, Mediamarkt and Saturn are all more important in selling singles than iTunes.

Ireland isn't a very relevant market and doesn't show much about Europe though. Ireland follows what the UK does anyways.
In Germany, Spain, Italy, Russia, Holland, Sweden, France, Switzerland - the most relevant music markets in Europe besides the UK - and a few others 'Applause' gained a boost on the charts despite falling on iTunes. I am too lazy to find Applause, too busy requesting it on radio stations
