It's just not fair that Dr. Luke is holding her back from expressing her creativity and ideas into her music. I'm not a Ke$ha stan but I see a lot of potential in her. The rockier songs on Warrior that she wanted to make are miles better than the generic dance rehashes. Ke$ha's an artist, and she should be allowed to display artistic growth and evolution through the years. But all that RCA and Dr. Luke seem to care about is maintaining her brand and image which is unfair to Ke$ha. Warrior is not a bad album at all, but the single choices after Die Young were terrible and they're mostly to blame for the album flopping and the decline of her career at this point.

Is there any way that she can cut her contract with Luke? Or is she trapped? The fans' movement is only going to make things worse. This should be handled professionally.

This is exactly my issue with this, the only thing it CAN do is make her situation worse. She is bound to her contract still, there is no easy way out just because there's an inflammatory online petition.

Btw since you mentioned it: what would have been your single choices after DY? I'm curious.

They picked literally the worst choices for singles 2 and 3. C'Mon was an extremely safe choice that should have been saved for later in the era, and Crazy Kids shouldn't have even happened. Last Goodbye should have been the second single. It's commercial and radio-friendly, but lyrically it shows a different side of Ke$ha instead of the usual party-themed songs. Same for Thinking of You.

I don't understand how Last Goodbye ended up on the Bonus version instead of the regular version album in the first place.

I'm not so crazy about Thinking Of You, but that would still have been a better choice. I would have chosen Supernatural over it, and then throw in C'Mon there somewhere. Because it's still a cute song, just very safe and more of the same.

I have never seen any official confirmation of the 8 album deal story, but it keeps circulating and being spread among insider animals. So I kind of assume it's the truth.

In the end, there needs to be balance.. The best thing to do is to talk to Luke and let her have more artistic freedom.. Ke$ha obviously has a vision... I don't see why there can't be more album tracks with the rockier edge.. And then Luke needs to be open to mixing things up.. There is a good way to give pop songs a rock edge and still make it radio friendly.. PAARDH and toy somewhat have the sound... Go from there..

In the end, the animals are doing too much and screwing Kesha up.. Without Luke and success, she won't be making albums in the long run.. We need a long successful career to hear from her for a long time..

She isn't going to be spewing them.. We are guaranteed 1 album if Luke stops.. But it's so risky, so she might not make it if the album isn't successful... She needs collaborating minds.. She can't do it alone

Literally worst case scenario, she signs to an independent record label and puts out whatever she wants for the rest of her life. Artists that had one or two hits back in the early 2000s are now doing this exact thing and Ke$ha has tons of connections. Don't be delusional.
