Promotion: a publicity campaign for a particular product, organization, or venture.
Now tell me if there has been a campaign for the release of this album?
Tell me if she has been on a tv show or radio station to talk about this album or perform?
And the 17 videos are not the promo, it's the product.
And please don't say, Pepsi or H&M.
The Pepsi campaign was to promote Pepsi, not her album. Big difference. Oh and the song used is only a bonus video.
The H&M campaign was to promote H&M summer line, not her album. Once again big difference. Oh and the song used is not on any version of the album.
Folks are so pressed and can't wrap their minds around how she's having so much success effortlessly. No Oprah, no Ellen, no morning show, no Ryan Secrest, no radio, No performances, no promotion etc, just dropped an album out of the blue and a month later still slaying billboards 200 top 5. Its Beyoncé only she can do that, the pressed are still trying to figure it out, that's kii of of it all.
