Something upbeat with clever structures/lyrics (But not as hard to process as BTW's stuff). Something that would further prove that she's not like any other popstars these days.
A new EDGE OF GLORY with an even more uplifting hook.
Judas type energy without its lyrics.
A real ****ing ballad. not a power one. - maybe the breakup song
2 "im in love and ****ing taylor now" songs - redone type song
1 edgy song lyrically
1 HML with an actual chorus this time though
1 or 2 totally new sounding songs - i'd love some sort of ETHNIC sounding songs, whether she pulls her inspiration from africa or latin america idc, i think she almost captured that beautifully with Americano and I want her to try again, it could be really amazing
great collab that sticks to BTW roots - picturing the Elton collab here
A few surefire hits for sure but the rest of the album can be whatever the **** she wants. I trust that she knows what she's doing. BTW's main problem was its subject matter so if she can tweak it a bit and make it more accessible to everybody (aka moving forward), she will be golden.
More Born This Way songs...if the bitch regresses I am done. But she WILL NOT.
A progressive artist like her will never "regress" she will simply pull inspiration from her previous releases and incorporate it into her newest sound, like how she based MTN off of DITD
I don't really care what she does, except I need 1 (or 2 it it's a full album) power ballads. Brown Eyes, Speechless, and You and I are.....meh. She's going to do what she wants anyways. I just want new music.
I want an album full of songs like Judas and TEOG, dramatic and innovative/different, yet fun and relate-able. It would be cool if she explored house/dubstep like the pop songs on PF:RR. I would like some ballads but not piano ballads in a sense. More electronic ballads like Trip To Your Heart.
I need for Gaga to think forward, not backwards. Loved the throwback album (BTW), but now it is time to think about the future. She should expand her realm of dance. No more Poker Face clones. That's been done to death at this point. She's evolved so well lyrically, time for her songs to do the same. I want stronger ballads that don't sound like Brown Eyes. Maybe a jazzy ballad. That would be great.
And something urban in the sense of So Happy I Could Die.
I know you said you didn't want to hear this in the OP, but I want something like The Fame Monster. Here's why:-
- It was original, it didn't sound like any other mainstream music at the time.
- It had such a diverse sound. From the fun Pop/Dance track Telephone, to the Rock Piano Ballad Speechless.
- It wasn't in any shape or form generic. It was interesting to listen to and didn't become repetative.
I defiantly want her to create more songs like Speechless and You & I, I love that sound from her.
I want her to take some of the genius that she had from Born This Way and make it more marketable and sell-able instead of trying so hard to be "different." Heavy Metal Lover was PERFECT; however, songs like Scheisse had marketable qualities (a CRAZY awesome melody/production), but her need to be "different" or whatever stopped them from being radio-friendly (like the fact that its name was the German translation of the word "****"), and that, I think, is what stopped Born This Way from being the Album of the Decade/Year/all of time/whatever she said it was gonna be.
I like that she tried to blend pop with different genres. She needs to do this, but perfect it in such a way that it's more appealing to everyone.
