I mean, everyone chanting "One more song, one more song, one more song..." is obviously bored out of their minds.
Tell me about it
Honestly, the crowd enjoyed themselves and that's all that matters. How can you expect someone who didn't like Adele in the beginning to enjoy himself.
Who brought up Britney in here? She is not a singer at least not at this point of her career. She is a performer and nothing more, she has been one for 13 years. Please leave Britney out of this. There's really no point in bring her up in here since she lost her vocal talent years ago. Anyways there is some truth to this review she isn't a performer she's a singer which there is nothing wrong with that. If he finds her so boring go watch another act because I'm sure other people will disagree with him. I would love to see Adele sing in a chair,it's his loss he doesn't enjoy a great vocalist.
I can understand his point. It's one thing to be an amazing singer, but to make those songs come alive in a true performance (injecting the vocals with genuine emotion, connecting to the crowd, etc.) is a step above. Perhaps Adele isn't quite there yet, but I'm sure it'll come with time as she matures and gets more experience.
Oh well, I'd rather watch a person sing onstage, even completely immobile, like Mariah Carey, then watch someone mime onstage, but dance extremely well. It takes more talent to sing than to dance IMO, so Adele has the superior talent and still remains unbothered and ******** out album sales

She does bring emotion to the song and she does interact with the audience especially when she talks about the inspiration of hee songs

I'm not talking about between songs. To emote outwardly and make the audience feel your words is a step above just beautiful technical precision. I doubt Adele is a boring live performer, but perhaps just standing or sitting still makes it easier for her to shrink inward at points throughout the set. With age and experience, she will probably learn to maintain her considerable performing power throughout an entire show.
Adele is one of the biggest "emoters" there is and has tons of conviction, both on and off the stage, and that's the reason she has gotten so much acclaim within the past three years. It's one thing to say she's boring, but it's another to question her emotion or connection to the crowd.
I don't wanna throw any stones, but I honestly can't picture how anyone calling himself/herself a "music fan" could find someone singing to be just "boring."

Well of course, Adele IS boring. She's just a girl with a pretty voice, she brings absolutely nothing new to the table.
Who in pop music is bringing something "new" to the table? Please let me know this. All of those bitches are "been there, done that" acts.
I'm not going to pretend that Adele's the end all be all of performers (I think she has to work on a couple of things to REALLY captivate a stage), but some of the reasons being brought up in here are so redundant and well... lame.
Also, back to the emotion thing, while I don't agree with this article, it doesn't seem that the writer questioned her emotion or connection to the audience, as he said that her fans seemed to really be into her one-dimensional performances. He seems to have a problem with her not moving often during the show, which she could work on. But I'm wondering why she has gotten so much flack for this when this was never an issue for past artists who relied mainly on vocal performances in their stage acts. Why is this not accepted by the masses today? Does everyone have to move around or have a bunch of theatrics to be accepted as "interesting?"
Celine has got more stage presence in her pinkie finger than Adele has in her whole 300+ pound body
And yet, people still find Celine boring as ****, which makes me believe they, like Adele haters, have only a small brain or just don't watch enough performances by her to formulate a useful opinion.

That's not what i was talking about and you know it. Adele is boring, her personality is boring, she's not a captivating artist. She's not like Amy who had an AMAZING voice and her concerts were pure entertainment. Like Janelle Monáe, too.
