You're clearly adamant about consuming meat and animal byproducts, so nothing I say right now is going to change your mind. However, since this is a common argument:
The cost of veganism is debatable for a few reasons, but vegetarianism can easily be as cheap if not cheaper than a diet that includes meat. Legumes, grains (pasta, rice, quinoa, etc.), beans, canned or frozen fruits and vegetables and so on are all dirt-cheap and contribute much more to energy than highly-processed, highly unhealthy fast food. Many vegetarians still consume dairy products, but even alternatives like almond milk and cashew cheese are not significantly more expensive than the actual products.
Bye @ you using fast food of all examples as cheap, energizing and sustaining when it's anything but. Come back to me when you can't purchase
a 20-pound bag of rice at Walmart for the cost of a normal fast food meal and have it ready to eat in less than 30 minutes.
