Well, with Osha continuing to be the dream interpreter for Bran this episode, it's looking less likely. The more I think about it though, the removal of the Reeds could work fairly easily. Bran could easily have the
green dreams
himself, and Osha would obviously fill the role of Meera. The main problem is (Book 5 spoilers)
who will take Rickon to Skagos
? Did the Maester end up dying?
And I don't remember the Frey brothers being that important, am I forgetting something? Reek, on the other hand...

I don't think you know what an adaptation is supposed to do. It definitely isn't supposed to remain loyal, word for word. Television has to take internal conflict and externalize it; show, not tell. This did that, and it strengthens Dany's motivations.
