It's a horrible simile.
A good simile gives the reader/ listener a vivid idea of the feeling you're trying to convey.
So if I said, "Do you ever feel like a rat in a cage?" you would immediately know what I'm talking about, because you can imagine how a rat in a cage would feel; helpless, desperate, anxious, maybe a little reckless...
But "Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?" doesn't tell the listener
anything. Do I ever feel like a plastic bag? I... I don't know. How is a plastic bag supposed to feel?
And the next part of the line doesn't really help, either. I mean, "wanting to start again"? Is that what plastic bags do?
