The first of 3 non-singles on my chart shows up the week (and it's the only one not by Paramore. You can take that as a hint).
20. Sick Puppies- "All The Same"
A very powerful song here. Most of their album is pretty good as well and is definitely worth listening to. Retired on my countdown.
19. Smashing Pumpkins- "Bleeding the Orchid"
So technically this wasn't a single, but it is my favorite song off their album. It made my chart because "Tarantula" was already off and the second single wasn't released at that time so I just decided to throw this song on my countdown because it was too good to be ignored. It debuted at #2 and slowly declined after that.
18. Jimmy Eat World- "Big Casino"
At first I wasn't a big fan of this song. It stayed on for only two weeks then fell, but returned some 5 weeks later and is still on to this day. Very catchy chorus similar to many of their hits which is my I love this band.
17. Atreyu- "Becoming The Bull"
Retired on my countdown and spent 2 weeks at #1 beating out Paramore in those 2 weeks so that deserves a round of applause
. I didn't even like Atreyu much until this new album and now they are becoming one of my favorites.
16. RED- "Let Go"
Spent the most weeks at #1 for a song not by Paramore. 5 weeks in a row at #1 eventually knocked off of #1 by Paramore's "Crushcrushcrush." I still think "Breathe Into Me" was a better song though and it will show that because it charts in the top 5 (spoiler?)
And before I forget, the other list of the day is...
Top 5 movies of 2007
5. The Simpsons Movie
4. 300
3. Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix (yes I like Harry Potter movies. So what?)
2. Spiderman 3
1. The Bourne Ultimatum
Come back Tuesday to see #15-11 and my top 5 albums of the year.
