Gurl a song like JCGE isn't going to be enough to help the album reach platinum. If they released a smash like Whenever, it'd be a different story. If/when they do, it's going to be too late. I have a feeling the album is going to stall right around 800K.

Looks like The Beginning is on the road to irrelevance unless JCGE picks up. Reaching Platinum is going to be an uphill battle.
Are you surprised? It opened with little more than 110K. The Time (& some performances with it - including the Superbowl) propelled the album to gold. So it's already sold almost 5x its debut numbers.

I'm glad that Nicki will outsell Drake. While they are both some of my favorite artists, there albums were both sorta disappointing. Nicki's was less disappointing, however.
