The difference really isn't that big and I don't get all the people saying they fixed the noisiness of the chorus cause it sounds exactly the same lol (I listened back to back), although the "noisiness" never bothered me like ya'll say. I think the album version is better but this one is fine too, here for this generic anthem smashing
I don't mind the new mix but they are definitely trying to keep this The Greatest and Cheap Thrills theme going which I don't think is necessary. I like how in your face and percussive the original is. Plus I love for a huge, loud chorus and I don't find it noisy. But regardless I hope this slays.
This is such a wasted opportunity. Yeah the loudness was reduced very much but she needed to put some adlibs. These are vocals recorded four or five years ago now, didn't they need a little refreshing?
I wish the single mix the best luck because the original was my absolute favorite in TIA because it was such an upbeat energetic song coming from Sia, the untouched "Shakira sounding" demo vocals included.
it's one of her best songs so hopefully it smashes
