Number 7 is two of the same Roar and Brave. These songs are interchangable tbh... but i love them for their own differences.. Roar is such a momentous song the beat is booming and Katy's vocals are explosive it may be a little generic but its a great song. Brave is the quiet softer spolen twin sister, it doesn't have the momentous beat but Sara's vocals are enough, when she sings I Wanna See You Be Brave i get chills...
Number 6 is also a Katy Perry bop and its time two as well. One is the second single while the next is a promo single turned third single. Uncle is one of best Katy's songs and videos and beautifully written and sung ballad shame it didnt get the acclaim it desreved (or a proper live performance ). Dark Horse is the other half, i mean who knew Katy could deliver and hip/hop pop infused track, it is eerily wonderful. One of her best songs as well ...
Applause is GAGA's best lead single since Bad Romance. I don’t see the hate for it; it is electro-dance pop at its finest hour.. It sucks that it had to be rush released but it was still a hit her biggest radio hit at that... Applause deserves so much more praise than it has got people always let numbers influence their opinion on a song.. DWUW is Gaga's best single this era i mean who knew she could deliver s r&b dance jam and to add R.Kelly to the mix this song is pure pefection. She is somewhat ruining the song with all these remixes but it still is one of GAGA's best.
Iggy queen served us with a driven rap single. Most likely the best rap song by a female in 2013. It was sassy sexy and very telling of her journey to make it. I applaud the raw and real she spit on the track. More bops like this and she could rise and rival Nicki....
