Where I'm coming for is that ya'll shouldn't be knocking Mariah's career cuz she is a legend and obviously has had WAY more success than Leona has. Yes she has just started but her 2nd album didn't live up to expectations it flopped and so did the singles. She needs to do something different the US is already starting forget about her. Mariah on the other hand had proven to have amazing longevity from the 90s to last year still getting a top 10 smash. Just saying gotta respect the legends bitch or not.

Sorry to be the one to break this to you, but Leona will not be an international star(with longevity). She's had her chance to capitalize on her success, but due to her horrible promotion for Echo, her brief reign is over. I'm sure she'll have several #1 hits in the UK, but now everyone can throw away that notion that she's the next "Mariah". Yes, she's a great singer. Perhaps the best in a decade, but usually Leona's work is more impressive than expressive. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Leona fan, just a bigger Mariah fan.

You can't analyze someone's personality off of a clip, or a few lines. You don't know her personally, so you shouldn't make such a judgement. She has no "bad" personality, she's just a diva. Her mom was an opera singer, and Mariah is a REAL singer/songwriter. When you have that kind of success and talent, you're entitled to being a diva.
