ARTPOP over TFM and Britney Jean over BOMT (25M+ )? And it still hasn't outsold UA WW.

The OP clearly talks about their current eras, wrong choice of words.
They mean the current pop girls are still hot and should be selling more albums than someone who is into 17th year in her career. Yet they sell either the same or less numbers of albums, which is true and embarassing.

she might be outselling a lot of people at this very moment but not even close to in most of their peaks

10,000 copies is what some pop girls are opening with but when a Beyoncé album which was obviously had no promotion since February sells it in its 6th month, it's seen as nothing.
