I like his music but that's it. He comes off as ungrateful especially towards his fans and his attitude is unlikable.
When he has to constantly say "to the haters" or anything along those lines, it's obvious that it bothers him. He has a lot to learn, especially with growing up in public.
I'm close to his age and was NO WHERE near the way he acted at that age.
Fame changes people and his parents are letting him do what he wants whenever he wants as long as the paycheck comes in.

And yes, of COURSE he is going to put on a front. Every day he is faced with constant attacks on his looks, his talent, his personality, sexuality, everything about him and he's faced that from a young age. I couldn't live like that. First of all, no need to be so defensive. Already I feel as if your bias. I don't follow him or his career excessively so I don't have any EXTENSIVE evidence regarding how he treats his fans. I know he's put on free shows for them sometimes. Most artists don't do that unless it accompanies major promo.

And whether or not I consider him an exceptional performer is subjective and a matter of opinion.
