Lasers is amazing. Just the controversy surrounding Lupe and the album hindered it.
I have Cole World i have skipped and skimmed through songs but haven't listened to it fully. I just don't get the J. Cole hype. He's ok, average in an industry with lots of high profile rappers.

How bout you guys listen to it before you declare it CAN"T be...the album is a great album and whether or not it's the best album is purely subjective. Watch The Throne is a great album as well but considering it's the work of 2 legendary rappers, I'll give the edge to Take Care with Cole World and Ambition dukin it out for 3rd place...

Because, in my opinion, it takes more than just an hr or two to listen to and judge an album especially rap. I'm not here for the smoke and mirrors. I appreciate good beats, but I really want to sink into the lyrics and flow of each verse on each song.

I havent got the chance to lisen to "Take Care" but im sure I am going to like it. I have liked every song that he has leaked. I just wish there was less Wayne.... I am sick of him.

J Cole impressed me with "Breakdown", it's just so touching...then I started to realize that he's not an average rapper

Fair enough....I tend to be very critical of albums on 1st listen so when Im impressed whit an album initially, then it usually itsn't just a flavor of the month kinda of thing.
