I got into Santigold all the way back in '09 or something, and she just blew me away with her creativity back then. I knew she had put out an album this year but I didn't check it out until pretty much a month ago. I'm glad I did. Sonically 'Master of My Make-Believe' is probably one of the best out this year and some of the songs are so emotionally invested it's hard not to be moved. The collection of sounds is incredible, ranging from tracks like "This Isn't Our Parade" sounding like it was crafted in a jungle in India to "Big Mouth", a trippy, dub-esque fiasco. Santigold isn't really known on a mainstream level but I would recommend this album to anyone and everyone. It's a grower so don't be discouraged if you don't love it on the first listen.
The Essential tracks: "Disparate Youth", "God From the Machine", "Fame", "This Isn't Our Parade", "Big Mouth"
There is a lot I could say about this song... It's just heaven basically. I've been playing it since the summer and I'm STILL not tired of it. My biggest grippe with this song is that to my knowledge, it never got a video. That's kinda a pet peeve of mine, when a single doesn't get a video and so I guess for this reason I couldn't place this song super high... I'm different like that. I'm glad that it turned into a nice little hit for him. One of the best R&B singles of the year and I hope 2013 serves him right!

Give Me All Your Luvin' (feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A.) - Madonna
Madge, the Queen of Pop, was dragged to the pits for this song but I honestly loved it. "Give Me All Your Luvin'" has a great anthemic feel to it and I'm willing to bet that if someone younger was singing it it would have smashed harder. Nicki and M.I.A. are both meh on the track but I applaud Madge for cooking up a current sounding song without it being downright generic. L-U-V Madonna!

Rack City - Tyga
Heyyyy this is my jam. The instrumental is just nuts and Tyga's verses are surprisingly good. I just don't really see how you can resist singing along to the chorus and feeling like a THUG. The video is cool as well and even though the song got old real quick it was still that **** when it was hot.
