That's how I discovered him. "Latch" is one of my favorite songs of the past couple years. He was also on SNL a month or so ago, so that helped him reach a wider audience in the U.S. And "La La La" was a top 10 radio hit. So he's had some nice promo.

Yeah I was confused at Sam getting big in the states but then recalled SNL and that "La La La" is finally here and somehow "Latch" is working in the US. Plus with "Stay With Me" charting he's like on all the radio stations.
I hope he isn't pigeonholed as the "male Adele" cuz the album's over a dude.
