Given your responses in this tread, I don't think you're genuinely interested in (or capable of?) engaging in a meaningful dialogue.
The reason why your argument that Whitney Houston covering "I Will Always Love You" = Cultural Appropriation is laughable is because:
1.) There isn't an established history of non-Whites benefitting from so-called White culture (The Elvis Presley syndrome)
2.) People didn't accept the song more when Whitney did it because she was black, whereas in instances like the present case, main stream cultures do praise these "trends" more when White people do them than when Black people did. (I challenge you to find as many mainstream articles praising Black women for the innovative new braid trend!!!!1)
3.) Country music itself
isn't really exclusively part of "White Culture"
