Not Belinda bragging about 1 million. Take a seat girl.
Sad, not even Latin America uses her.
If Anahi, Dulce and Maite are bigger than Belinda then Latin pop is doomed. Maite's attempt at an album flopped hard, Dulce had a radio hit and Anahi had an MTV Mexico hit but they haven't really made an impact on pop music. Also, could many of those followers be old RBD fans? I know some Brazilians were really into RBD. Brazilians are passionate. Have you gone to Facebook and YouTube and seen Brazilians comment Brazil loves you under an artist's post?
Floricienta and Patito Feo had a lot of impact on Latin America thanks to Disney Channel. Don't get me started on the cheap Televisa remakes. Oh, and the fact that those remakes are still Danna Paola and Eiza Gonzalez' peaks.
Las divinas is more iconic and memorable than any belindas song
What decline She is still one of the highest selling artists of Mexico without trying it. When Televisa transmitted a special of her in August her album sales went up and she had the #1 album for weeks
Arstists that are on shows like "La Voz" can't compete with her even when they have the biggest promo possible in Mexico.
This.
Thalia is ALWAYS relevant over there, she may not be on tv/radio 24/7 like she used to when she was younger, but she is ALWAYS relevant.
Mia was a character though. Anahi is super humble, she is only a bitch to the Paparazzi.
Yes, she is. And even though her album didn't sold that well, she toured in a lot of countries (Brasil, Venezuela, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Mexico, Chile, Romania, Slovenia).
Oh and here's the gross from a total of 9 dates between January and March.
GROSS

And you can't jam to Aventura or Alejandro Fernandez yet the outsell every pop girl in Latin America. My point is, just because Thalia's music is not exactly your cup of tea doesn't mean that other people will think the same, everyone has different tastes and some people prefer ballads and romantic songs than uptempo stuff. Especially in Mexico.
I am not denying that she still sells albums well and that people know her but she just isn't what she used to be. She is not on TV, her songs get barely played on the radio, she just doesn't have presence. She is more of an occasional artist. But yes I agree that some people like her. Let's say she is like the Mexican.....I don't know...Madonna? She still sells well, people know her but she doesn't have that big of a presence anymore.

I'm just saying that they had more impact than Belinda with RBD, like belinda should not be calling her self the most important artist of latin america when other girls have out peaked her.

Hmm, this is debatable. I still listen to Angel, Luz Sin Gravedad and Bella Traicion. But that's just me Las Divinas was very iconic. Gasolina de verdad.

I think it terms of industry respect and impact WITHIN Mexico Yuri is Madonna, Thalia and Paulina are Britney and Christina (Still pop royalty) and well the younger ones like Belinda, Anahi, etc... are Rihannas and Katys.

Thalia had a #1 song in 2013 & the mexican Madonna is Yuri.
Correction: people know who Thalia WAS.
Young people don't listen to her anymore. If it wasn't because of her devout fans she would be flopping hard. Yes, she sells albums and a couple of her songs might receive some airplay but she is no longer a major popstar. People see her as a celebrity who married a rich guy and lives comfortable in NYC. I think she even owns money to her grandmother. Thalia will always be the telenovela queen and her music had some impact (and still sells well among her fans) but you can't deny her decline.
So many contradictions, you say people don't know who she is yet her album is still outselling basically everyone in the mexican music industry, it cannot be just her "devouted fans".
You say young people doesn't know who she is, and again, I can argue about it being false, and you can arge about it being true, but at the end it's only our opinion. I see girls covering her new and old songs all the time on reality shows, like I said, it cannot be only her fans.
I don't know why would you bring her personal life but okay. And of course she had a decline, I mean, she was one of the biggest stars here in México, back in the day a million albums sold was huge, but the fact that she can still manage to do half the amount of what she did in this period of time where mexicans are just downloading music illegaly and singers are lucky enough to get Gold certificated albums is HUGE.
Anyway, back on topic. Belinda WISHES she had the career Carmen Salinas has.
I'm just saying that they had more impact than Belinda with RBD, like belinda should not be calling her self the most important artist of latin america when other girls have out peaked her.
Belinda is definitely not the most important artist of Latin America, I agree. But her solo career is better than the solo career of the RBD girls.
Yes, she is. And even though her album didn't sold that well, she toured in a lot of countries (Brasil, Venezuela, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Mexico, Chile, Romania, Slovenia).

I love Anahi
Sucks that she is dating a politician now, they probably don't let her release music anymore.
