This is her voice. This is her saying that she stands with Kesha and i'm also POSITIVE that she personally talked to Kesha, not sent out a 140 word count tweet.
Where have you been for the past few days? People have been dragging Taylor for not saying anything publicly, this was obviously her response to that.
I saw, but it doesn't mean anyone "forced" her to donate to Kesha. No one was expecting her to donate money, at most people wanted her to use her voice to help
Why not just band up with other female artists and buy Ke$ha out of her contract? A donation is very generous, and I'm sure it helps with legal fees, but it doesn't actually do anything if she is still obligated to record with Sony.
People saying this doesn't fix rape or fix anything, well of course it doesn't change what happened to her, but neither would just her words alone. With this money I'm sure Taylor has helped Kesha immensely with her legal bills and just living costs with the current stalled status of her career etc.
This is just lovely. I'd be so intrigued to hear how this came about, like how Taylor reached out to her privately etc.
Honestly such a beautiful, generous and admirable of Taylor to do. I bet Kesha is so grateful. I am appalled at anyone running in here trying to discredit her for this. If you have nothing nice to say...
