Nobody who worked on Blackout called Britney unprofessional. Quite the opposite actually.

|
....Who cares? What is that even have to do with whether she's a legend? As to whether Fetty is bigger?...
Her being a legend is an OPINION, not a fact as it goes for everyone. I don't have to have the same stance as some sources you would like to cite as proof. I don't think she's a legend, and you WON'T be changing that.
Stop being so angry over everyone who says she isn't.

Furthermore, my stance is that Britney is a Legend of Pop culture.
In fact, I don't believe she's a musical legend by any means.
One would have to write, produce, and perform all their music live in order to be classified as such imo.

She opened at #2 (supposed to have been #1, but let's not), had her lead single peak at #3, followed that up with the now ~iconic single, Piece of Me, and ultimately walked away with her artistic credibility in tact regardless of her over saturated public lifestyle.
She became a "Rock Star" with the Blackout era, deal with it.
Unfortunately the conservatorship was made permanent as a result, and she regressed immeasurably following the Circus era.
Oh and btw, Gaga acknowledged Brit's Rock Legend status with the 07 VMAs. In case you didn't know.

Top 50 albums in 2007:
Blackout N/A
I'm sorry but if an album is not top 50 that means it's a flop.
and the so called ICONIC singles (only spent like 3 weeks in the top 10) this post makes no sense, I'm sorry.

Britney is not a legend. When the average person thinks of the words musical legend - Michael Jackson comes to mind, Madonna, Prince etc. Teen/Bubble-gum/pop-icon? sure. Legend, never.

Everyone knows "It's Britney, Bitch".
Check one.
Everyone also knows Britney is in Vegas. What's the title of her show? Piece of Me.
Check two.
Numbers suggest Blackout's flop, but the social conscious says otherwise.
Success isn't solely based on numbers.

Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elvis, The Beatles are some of the only indisputable legends, then the term is very subjective.
|
^^^^ Basically this plus maybe Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, etc. The term legend gets thrown around here way too often.

Honestly, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Obviously some people have come in here with clear bias, but who cares? Britney IS a legend, and the opinions of a small group of bitter people on ATRL doesnt change that.

I don't think she had any impact musically actually.....so it's really not up for debate.

In The Zone says hello. Not to mention she is the executive producer of arguably her most acclaimed album, Blackout. She's had a hand at writing & producing a majority of her work - a lot more than most pop girls & more than people give her credit for simply because she doesn't feel the need to brag about it.
She was also behind the conceptualization of her most iconic videos - Baby, Toxic, Stronger, Womanizer, Oops, Lucky - all her ideas. As was the Onyx Hotel tour. And she still puts forth her own video concepts as shown with "Pretty Girls". She's very much been in control of her branding & image throughout her career. Her label originally had a completely different route mapped out for her. Not to mention anyone who is a fan knows how often she's spoken out against her label until she had it her own way.
Charity Work:
Brit has attended countless charity events & even ran her own talent camp for disadvantaged kids. She's actually one of the most charitable celebs we know of.
Business ventures:
Performing on Broadway since before your faves could even talk. One of the most successful celebrity perfumes. Lingerie & clothing line. Books. TV shows & film... A Vegas residency. I'd say she's made fantastic decisions on the business ventures front & covered nearly all territory. The woman has been working since she was 3.
I cannot name a pop star in the game that has not cited her or her career as an influence at some stage. She has some of the most iconic performances in history to her credit. Not to mention she basically saved the American economy with her 2007 news coverage lol.
Tsk, these pressed girls speaking out of their assholes.
