I don't think Katy is THAT generic. All of her singles are generic (except Thinking of You and E.T.). But I think the same of all the artists on the list. For example, I think all of Lady Gaga's songs are generic except Love Game and You and I.
The only ones that I think are consistenly un-generic are Beyonce and Christina Aguilera.
Nicki Minaj pre-2011 was the most un-generic of all of these, but after Starships and Turn Me On, she's becoming as bad as some of the others.
