As for Unfriended, I did really enjoy it and I thought that it was super super cool as a fresh take on the "found footage" sub-genre for the technological age. However, I can't say that it ever really scared me at all. It was more of almost a gory suspenseful drama than anything. All I cared about was finding out the next piece of the puzzle, but the ghost bitch wasn't scary in the least.

The Strangers. The overall theme and just the thought of stuff like that ACTUALLY happening terrifies me. The scene where he just steps out of the darkness and stares at her while she obliviously is walking around the house

if we're talking about disturbing horror movie in general (including snuff, thriller, slasher ) , there are a lot!

so many Asian horror movies that can make me feel uncomfortable (see: Dream Home)

+1 My favorite scene. Or when one of the strangers replicates the tune she played on the piano, suggesting they were there all along such a classic.

Yeah, I recently watched the last maybe 20 minutes of Martyrs just because I wanted to see what all of the hype was about... Damn. Just from the last few minutes I watched, and my basic understanding of the plot as a whole from reading about it online.... Damn. That end.

Shameless promo but it fits in this thread. Please sign the petition for a director's cut of the Carrie remake. The version shown at test screenings was different from the final cut and had about 30 or 40 minutes of deleted scenes like a White Commission, an extended prom scene, more character development, alternate endings, etc. Only 12 minutes of deleted scenes have been seen. I have a feeling this may get released soon, but wishful thinking.

Hmm 2 > 3 > 5 > 1 >>>>>> 4

2 is just all around flawless. Best opening disaster, best deaths, best storyline, it's all amazing. 3 has the ****ing ICONIC tanning bed scene and the final scene was great. The other two are good but 4 is a giant mess.

I need Final Destination 6. I also need Saw 8. I really just need a horror franchise to get excited for

Wow, that's tough. I really loved #3 back in the day so I'm gonna with:

3 > 2 > 1 > 5 > 4

The fourth one was absolute trash while 5 has some interesting ideas. But I think we can agree that the series got way too trashy after the third one.
