I just found another hint that points to Dark Side eventually being a Single:
Every song that Kelly says almost didn't make the album ended up as a Single...every album has one besides for Thankful...
Breakaway had Behind These Hazel Eyes. Kelly said it almost didn't make the album but she changed the lyrics and tone of the song last minute and really liked it...it ended up as Single #3.
My December had Never Again. Kelly said that Never Again at one point was going to be cut from the album because she felt it was very negative and nasty even compared to Behind These Hazel Eyes...she decided that she didn't care and kept it on the album...it ened up as the only official Single from My December.(America)
All I Ever Wanted had Already Gone. Kelly said that after she heard Halo that she was very angry and wanted Already Gone taken off of the album completely...but it was too late and they were already producing the CD's. After that she put up a fight against Already Gone being released as a Single but RCA released it without her consent anyway...becoming Single #3.
Stronger has Dark Side. during the track by track commentary Kelly said that at first she rejected Dark Side even though it was an awesome song because it was too dark and depressing. She later listened to it again and decided that it was too good of a song to let go...fate says that Dark Side will be a Single

I would love it if that happened! I really really love dark side! love it when it leaked a few months back! Love it much more when i heard the final version of it! Hope it happened! Hopefully this will be her 2nd successful era in terms of singles sales!

yeah, if I had to guess, Einstein is probably the track she was shading a little while ago when she said her label wanted a song on the record that she didn't.

I think Einstein is one of those tracks you either love or hate. I'm surprised Kelly didn't fight harder to change the lyrics. It could've been a much better song.
I think she's shading ify since most of you guys think that ify was the one that she doesn't want it to be on the album? on the other hand, I do think that einstein is the song that she wants it to be on the album? I'm guessing both rca and her compromise each other? It could be like, "look, if you want einstein to be on the album, we want ify to be on the album" and i think she's alright with it since majority of us are hating einstein lyrics and loved the production(chorus) of ify.
