I watched it and I loved it! Christian Bale nailed it.
Actually I think I preferred the movie over the book... that doesn't happen very often
In the book, there were many parts that were just a bunch of disconnected facts, his acts (not only the murders) didn't seem to have any consequence at all, and those parts were quite dull.
In the movie they obviously tightened up the story, and I think it was better this way - even if it's a much, much, much lighter version of the book.
