Taeyeon isn't racist -_- that statement was "supposedly" wrongly translated. She said "Our black friend is pretty" not she's pretty for a black girl.
Yes, i thought so too when i newly got into kpop and she always kept talking about how she liked her fair skin.
But as i kept watching korean dramas and the issue of having darker skin kept coming up, i came to realize that the problem is ignorance, not racism. Koreans - if they're not korean american - don't grow up around black people. All they see is people like them. So give them a bit of a break :/ and trust me, if you educate yourself a bit more on snsd you will see they are really nice people.
I'm still a bit iffy on taeyeon till today but i just try to understand her and see her for her strong points instead of her weak points. Sorry for the essay
