I remember how pressed I was when I came back to ATRL that Lorde seemed set to replace Lana and Miley had seemingly demolished Gaga and Rihanna And now they're both flopping

maybe, but Rihanna makes cultural impact every year. She is consistent.
Where as Miley was completely front loaded and will never reach those levels again. Kinda like Gags career only sped up
Never count Miley out. Remember that almost everyone was pretty sure she was done and the thought of her becoming probably the most talked about celeb this year just seemed laughable back then.
Obviously her showing off her body and being sexually provocative isn't gonna get much attention anymore, but she'll come up with smth in the future to retain her relevance. She is pretty smart and fame-hungry. I think next step would be getting together with someone famous. I heard she was seeing Kellan Lutz, but she needs to do better than that.
Because being dragged by the media all year for being a try hard and contrived mess is a good thing? Miley is seen as a joke, relevant or not.
Remember when miley was supposed to end rihanna? Now the latter is number 1 again and the former is struggling for relevance. Same will happen with beyonce except on a much smaller scale since beyonce is even more local and had way less attention.

They should've just released Britney Jean as an EP since they obviously only put out music to promote the Vegas show. There's about 8 good tracks out of the 13 so it would've worked really well.
There are barely any good tracks, it's such a ****** album.
At least the documentary saved the era a bit and the Vegas show looks promising
I literally can't count the amount of times she's contradicted herself this year on both of my hands. It's like she has amnesia or something. A Britknee sized mess.
