Big Brother makers Endemol have applied for a HUGE extension to the show's famous house.
A planning application sent to Hertsmere Borough Council last month could almost double the size of the current bungalow, which has been based at the famous Elstree studios for almost 15 years now.
The proposals include a brand new outdoor garden featuring a circular pool, almost as big as the current one, together with a 500sqm internal extension to the house with the new building spanning TWO floors and being referred to in the documents as the "2nd house".
The documents submitted also include the proposed erection of a revamped eviction stage for the outdoor live shows together with a new "presenter's walkway".
More technically, the application asks the council permission for the "Erection of an additional television production set and a television studio, and creation of an additional external area within the Big Brother House associated with the production of Big Brother.
"Extension of acoustic and visual fence to the north east corner of the Big Brother compound."
A planning decision on the proposals probably won't be made for a few months yet so it's not yet clear if the changes will be implemented for the new summer series of Big Brother in May, assuming they approved of course.
"Big Brother House, this is Davina. You are live on Channel 4; please do not swear. (nominated housemates' names), the lines are closed; the votes have been counted and verified, and I can now reveal that the nth person to be evicted from the Big Brother House is...(evicted housemate's name). (Evicted housemate's name), you have 30 seconds to say your goodbyes; I'm coming to get you!"
