After streaming 1989 on APPLE MUSIC in the past 2 days, I decided to slightly modify my top 5 on 1989:
1, THIS LOVE
2, CLEAN
3, BLANK SPACE
4, OUT OF THE WOODS
5, BAD BLOOD
Edit: The only change is that BLANK SPACE and OUT OF THE WOODS, switch the positions.
Edit2: BLANK SPACE obviously takes advantage from its MV which was always in my mind while playing it on AM
Edit3: Please work with Joseph Kahn on more MVs in the future, he understands music, at least the drum beats much better than other directors.
Edit4: For BAD BLOOD MV, not so many directors can think of the music and the beats in THE FIFTH ELEMENT, and perfectly use it in the MV, perfect
Edit5: For BLANK SPACE, its MV makes me like this number one hit even more. Edit6: Every scene, even every STEP (not just the walking step) matches the music so well
Edit7: It likes he/she just steps on the exactly right point, making the perfect beats
Edit8: I'm here for Joseph Kahn to direct the MV of the next single, I prefer NEW ROMANTICS over WILDEST DREAMS which might NOT be his type.
Edit9: NEW ROMANTICS really needs an epic MV, with the CITY as the background.
But for now I say she better get the most out of every promo oppotunity
