So next is Poltergeist on May 22nd. Watched the original back in February, it was cool. A modern update should heighten some of the terror. Insidious 3 right behind that.

Don't know how excited I am about Sinister anymore. It looks super dumbed down.

@Haus, still haven't seen V/H/S/2 yet.

I'll see the new Poltergeist but I'm not expecting much. The original is a cult classic. A remake was unnecessary. There won't be any elements of surprise because we already know what's going to happen.

honestly unfriended was really good!

One of the best horror movies released recently (although that doesn't mean much )

I think every scene really contributed to the story, although it might not seem that way in the beginning.

I'm looking forward to it too. The directors are both SUPER amateur but really nice guys. It could either be surprisingly excellent or standard trash.

Oh man, I disagree. I thought this movie was great and it has lingered with me. This was the first movie that introduced me to the concept of snuff films.

I couldn't find a theater with It Follows so I settled for Unfriended. It was one of those films that knows it's a goofy, blockbuster, summer film and doesn't try to be more than that. It actually made me laugh a couple of times and I enjoyed it, though it's not scary in any aspect.

I wish I would've visited this thread before watching the Babadook. That film was such a waste of time

The ending of Unfriended was very stupid, but overall I think it was a great movie considering it's circumstances.

Watched Insidious last week. One of the most scary movies I've watched in a long time. The last ten minutes gave me nightmares.

Vacancy was a great movie. I didn't realize the cast were big names back when I first saw it

Identity is a 10/10 and I highly recommend seeing it. Absolutely brilliant.

I think The Babadook is slightly overrated by its stans, but it's still a great film. I personally believe that It Follows was superior and that no true horror fan should think it's trash. It's kinda the most well-rounded horror movie in years.

I just got out of the movie theater...unfriended was pretty good tbh. Like the whole movie it's set up during a Skype chat and it's actually pretty entertaining.
